The Reno Dance Festival is an annual celebration created for Reno and Tahoe’s local choreographers and dancers. Our mission is to provide stages for artists to present original work and to support the growing dance community. Each year, all proceeds go directly back to our participating artists, helping to nurture and sustain local talent. We also love painters, and other local artists of different mediums who are excited to provide additional color to our Reno Dance Fest family.

We also offer community workshops open to all ages and experience levels; we believe dance should be accessible to everyone. Dance brings life, connection, and joy — and we want to encourage more of it!

Each festival culminates in a festive after-party — a space where music, movement, and spirit collide. Here, we dance without inhibition, shedding layers of expectation and stepping fully into our true selves. It’s a celebration of freedom, joy, and creative expression, where every beat invites you to move, laugh, connect, and simply be. We’re proud to feature up-and-coming Reno DJs, who bring vibrancy and electricity to the atmosphere, making each after-party a living, breathing work of art.
